Cauê Dias Baptista (1994, São Paulo, Brazil) is a film director, scriptwriter and film programmer. Studied Film at Universidade Federal Fluminense, in Rio de Janeiro. Master in Film History, Theory and Criticism at Universidade de São Paulo, in São Paulo. Was a programmer of films and debates, between 2014 and 2017, at Cinemateca do MAM-Rio. Founding member of the film collective Filmes de Amor, which had works exhibited in festivals such as International Film Festival Rotterdam and FIDMarseille. Founded the production and distribution company Pena Capital, working as a scriptwriter, film director and producer. Also develops audiovisual projects with musician "Babe, Terror", appearing in publications like The Guardian and Pitchfork. Directed three short films, two of which premiered at Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes and the last one still unreleased. Currently working as a programmer of São Paulo International Film Festival and in the script of his first feature film.
