雷磊
Leilei was born in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province in 1985. He has worked at CalArts Experimental Animation program as full time Faculty since 2017.
He got a master's degree in animation from Tsinghua University in 2009. His film This is LOVE (2010) was shown at Ottawa International Animation Festival and awarded The 2010 Best Narrative Short; Recycled (2013) was the Winner Grand Prix shorts - non- narrative at Holland International Animation Film Festival. His first feature film Breathless Animals (2019) has been selected by Berlinale Forum.
He was the winner of Asian cultural council grants (2014) and invited for New Academy Member for the Short Films and Feature Animation branch, His installation Weekend was the winner of Jimei x Arles discovery award.
1985年出生于中国江⻄省南昌市, 任教于美国加州艺术学院实验动画专业。2009年，获得清华大学美术学院信息艺术硕士学位，曾获得亚洲文化协会蔡国强奖学金（2014）、集美阿尔勒国际摄影节发现奖（2017）。 2018年起,雷磊担任奥斯卡动画短片及⻓片单元评委。动画《这个念头是爱》（2010）获得渥太华国际动画节最佳动画短片奖；动画《照片回收》（2013）获得荷兰国际动画节最佳动画短片奖；第一部电影⻓片《动物方言》（2019）入选柏林电影节论坛单元。
