Mao Juyi

Juyi Mao (Hefei, Anhui Province, China, 1991) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He earned his BA from Xiamen University and an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art with focuses on new media art, critical theory, and cinema study.
Mao is a grantee and awardee of the United States Artists, the New York Foundation for the Arts, Queens Council on the Arts, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Artists' Fellowship, and NARS Foundation.
His work has been exhibited and screened in art venues internationally, including Anthology Film Archives, New York City; ARGOS, Brussels; Vox Populi, Philadelphia, among others.
