Nayra Sanz Fuentes (1979) was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. She has a degree in Hispanic Philology. She did part of her doctoral thesis in Berlin. She studied a Master of Film Direction in NY. She has directed five short films before finally works on her first feature film; As Old as the World.
