Born 1988 in Patagonia, Argentina. Julián García Long is a director, screenwriter, and researcher. He graduated from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (Argentina) and Le Fresnoy (France). With a multidisciplinary background that always revolves around images, he is pursuing a PhD in the Arts at LUCA School of Arts, KU Leuven (Belgium). He participated in the Berlinale Talents BA (2020). Screenwriter of several documentaries presented at FidMarseille, Doclisboa, FICUNAM, Festival de Mar del Plata, among others. His short films as director, 'Moheda' and 'The Despair of Monkeys', were presented at Fipadoc, Riga IFF (special jury mention), Short Waves, Festifreak, Science New Waves, among others.
