Yaoyuan Zhang was born in Dalian in 1989. Now he is studying filmology at Tokyo University of the Arts. His last short film “Half Time” was supported by the Housen Cultural Foundation Film Fund, entered the selection of Shanghai International Film Festival, Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival, Pia Film Festival, the 5th NOWNESS short film awards and won the Best Picture.
