He Yining is a researcher and curator. She is the founder of the Floating Island: Journal of Photography and Visual Studies, and Starlight: Trends and Methods of Contemporary Art. Her written, edited, and co-authored publications include The Routledge Companion to Photography, Representation, and Social Justice (2022), The Abobe of Anamnesis (2021), The Routledge Companion to Photography and Visual Culture (2018), The British Photography Classroom (2016), and The Ports and Images series, among over twenty other works. Her doctoral research focuses on decolonial art practices in contemporary Chinese art, examining the connections between artists’ personal experiences, the legacies of colonialism, and the decolonial discourse of the global turn. He Yining has curated exhibitions across Eurasia, including "Photographic Geomancy", "Imaging the Future," "China Imagined," "Between Mountains, Hills, and Lakes," "The Adobe of Anamnesis," and "Ports and Images" projects. She was co-curator for the 8th Singapore International Photography Festival and the 3rd Beijing International Photography Biennial. She was the winner of the OCAT Research Center's inaugural 2018 Research-based Exhibition Curatorial Plan and received a nomination for the 14th AAC Art China Curator of the Year Award.
何伊宁是一位研究者、策展人。她是《浮屿:摄影与视觉文化研究》《星辉:当代艺术的思潮与方法》两本文集的发起人,其撰写、编辑及参与写作的出版物包括《劳特利奇摄影、表征与社会正义》(2022),《记忆寓所》(2021),《劳特利奇摄影与视觉研究》(2018)《英国摄影教室》(2016)及《港口与影像》 系列等二十余种。她目前的博士研究围绕中国当代艺术中的解殖实践展开,考察艺术家的个人经验与半殖民地遗产,以及全球解殖话语之间的联系。何伊宁曾在中国和欧洲策划过展览,包括“相地堪舆”“图汇未来”“想像中国”“在群山、丘陵与湖泊之间”“记忆寓所”与 “港口与影像”系列等。 何伊宁是第八届新加坡国际摄影节,第三届北京国际摄影双年展的联合策展人之一;她是 OCAT 研究中心“首届2018研究型展览策展计划”的优胜者, 并凭借该研究项目的终展“记忆寓所”获得第十四届AAC艺术中国年度策展人提名奖。
