Li Hongqi, born in Shandong in 1976, wrote poems and novels from 1998 to 2004, and has been making movies since 2004. His works include feature films So Much Rice (2005), Routine Holiday (2008), Winter Vacation (2010), The The (2019). Documentary series Hooly Bible (in progress). He won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno International Film Festival and the KNF Award of International Film Festival Rotterdam. Now lives in the south of Hunan.

1976年生于山东，1998——2004写诗写小说，2004至今拍电影。
主要电影作品剧情片《好多大米》(2005)《黄金周》(2008)《寒假》(2010)《不能自拔》(2019)，纪录片《神经》系列（进行中）。曾获洛迦诺电影节金豹奖，鹿特丹电影节KNF奖等奖项。现居湘西。
