LIU Xinzhu is an emerging young film editor from China. Her editing works include Old Beast (2017, Asian Future Special Mention of the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival), Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains (screened as the closing film of Semaine de la Critique du Festival de Cannes 2019), Wu Hai (2020, FIPRESCI Award of Festival de San Sebastián), The Cloud in Her Room(2020, won Tiger Award of International Film Festival Rotterdam), The Shadowless Tower(2023, selected to compete for the Golden Bear at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival).
中国青年新锐剪辑师。代表作：《白塔之光》《老兽》《春江水暖》《乌海》《小伟》《她房间里的云》等。
2017年她的首部长片剪辑作品、由周子阳执导的电影《老兽》，获第30届东京国际电影节亚洲未来单元特别提名奖等多个奖项。2019年，由她担任剪辑、顾晓刚执导的电影《春江水暖》作为第72届戛纳电影节影评人周闭幕影片展映。2020年，她再次作为剪辑师，与周子阳导演合作电影《乌海》，影片获第68届圣塞巴斯蒂安国际电影节费比西国际影评人奖。2021年，她凭借与导演郑陆心源合作的《她房间里的云》斩获第15届FIRST青年电影展最佳艺术探索奖(剪辑)及其他电影节奖项。2023年，由她担任剪辑指导的电影《白塔之光》入围第73届柏林国际电影节主竞赛单元，亦在第13届北京国际电影节收获最佳艺术贡献奖在内的五个奖项。
