Tang Hongfeng is a research professor and vice Dean of the School of Arts, Peking University. Her research interests focus on art theory, image-media theory, and Chinese visual culture at the turn of the 20th century. She is the author of Transparency: Chinese Visual Modernity (1872–1911) and two other books. In 2022, she curated the exhibition Photographic Moments: The Emergence of Photographic Visuality in China at Xie Zilong Photography Museum.

唐宏峰，北京大学艺术学院副院长、研究员、博士生导师，国家社科基金艺术学重大项目首席专家，入选教育部青年长江学者奖励计划。主要研究领域为艺术理论、图像—媒介理论与近代中国视觉文化研究。出版《透明：中国视觉现代性（1872–1911）》等多部著作。2022年，策划谢子龙影像艺术馆年度馆藏研究展“影像时刻：早期中国摄影视觉的发生”。
