Yang Lina is the representative of Chinese independent documentaries. Her documentaries have been presented in many overseas film festivals. And Yang was once a dancer and a dramatic actress. Her trilogy of female-themed feature film includes: Longing for the Rain (2013), Spring Tide (2019), and Song of Spring (2022).
