Zhang Mengqi, filmmaker and choreographer, in 2010 she participated in The Folk Memory Project, in 2021 curating and co-organizing "Film For Mother" Festival.
Mengqi has made 11 feature-length documentaries, known as “Self-Portrait series”, which is her hometown village in Yidian Town, Suizhou City, Hubei Province, is a decade-long creation between exploring history and illuminating reality, the formation of a unique group of works.
Her films have been selected by Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival , Cinéma du Réel, Visions du Réel, BFI London Film Festival etc. Her films Won the “White Goose Award” in DMZ International Documentary Film Festival; “BIFF Mecenat Award” in Busan International Film Festival; “The Jean Vigo prize for best Director”; “The Youth prize for best film”in Punto de Vista and “Best Feature Film” in Festival internacional de cine independiente de cosquín; “International Competition Award of Excellence” in Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival.
Her choreographic work was performed in Foundation CULTURESCAPES(Switzerland), Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis (France), ImPuls Tanz (Vienna), Eurokaz (Croatia), etc.
章梦奇，纪录片和剧场创作者。2010年参与“民间记忆计划”，2021年策划并联合组织「母亲影展」。章梦奇的“自画像”系列纪录片和剧场创作，围绕其家乡湖北省随州市殷店镇钓鱼台村——“47公里”为基点，在探寻历史与照亮现实之间持续长达13年的创作。
“自画像”系列纪录片作品曾多次入选“法国真实电影节”、“瑞士尼翁真实电影节”、“BFI 伦敦电影节”等；并获得“韩国DMZ纪录片电影节国际最佳纪录片白鹅奖”，“釜山国际电影节最佳纪录片奖”，“西班牙Punto de Vista电影节最佳导演及观众选择奖”，“山形国际纪录片电影节国际竞赛单元优秀奖”等。
其“自画像”系列剧场作品曾在瑞士Foundation CULTURESCAPES艺术节，法国青年舞蹈交流季，维也纳ImPuls Tanz舞蹈节，克罗地亚ZKM青年剧场等国际戏剧舞蹈节展演。
