Nigel Yu was born in 1988 and graduated from Hebei Institute Of Communication College in 2009. His feature film Go South was shortlisted in the Industry Screening WIP Section of the 15th FIRST International Film Festival. His short film Hot, Hunt, Heat (2010) was selected for the 5th Beijing Independent Film Festival and Chongqing Independent Film&Video Festival 2010.
