Xianyi Zhang is a London-based filmmaker with an MA in Film from the University of the Arts London. Originally from Shanghai, China, Xianyi has cherished writing as a form of catharsis since childhood. She previously studied at the Shanghai Vancouver Film School. With a strong interest in experimental cinema, she is dedicated to exploring diverse artistic forms in audiovisual expression through her creations. Her previous short films have been nominated at festivals such as the Shanghai International Film Festival Shorts Unit, the AME Film & Television Plan, and the White Oryx International Short Film Festival in Dubai.
