Annik Leroy (°1952, Brussels) is a cinematographer and director, who made several feature films such as Le paradis terrestre (1973), In der Dämmerstunde – Berlin (1980), Vers la mer (1999), TREMOR. Es ist immer Krieg (2017), La force diagonale (2023) and installations such as Cell 719 (2006) and Meinhof. 3 (2008). Somewhere between speculation and reality, Annik Leroy’s installation and meditative films explore the dark areas of European history. She taught at ERG and LUCA Hogeschool Sint-Lukas.
After completing his studies in cinema practice and aesthetics at Paris 1, Arthur Chopin, enrolls in the directing program at La Femis at the age of 20.
Benjamin Sprengers (1982) is a filmmaker from Antwerp, Belgium. After working as a screenwriter for about fifteen years, he is now dedicating his time to personal projects as a writer and director. His screenwriting credits include the series 'Hotel Beau Séjour' (Netflix) and the film 'Patrick' (Tim Mielants). At the moment Benjamin is writing and directing his debut feature film, 'Kayak', a psychological thriller about a mysterious woman in a kayak.
Carina Pierro Corso is a visual artist, animator and director. She has a degree in Visual Arts from IA-UNICAMP* and did a master’s degree in Sound and Image with a specialization in animation at EA-UCP**. She is the director of the short film “tudo que fica na superfície morre” (2021), winner of the Prêmio Nacional da Animação in 2022, as “best student film". She also created the animation “please touch / please touch”, shown as an artistic installation at Panorama #22 and Porto Femme 2023.
