Antje Seeger is a filmmaker and visual artist. In her work, she explores the role of images in the interactions between the material and mental worlds as well as social values and everyday conventions of behaviour. Seeger's video works and installations have already been shown internationally. For example, at Goethe-Institute Rotterdam, 16th Media Art Biennale Wroclaw (PL), CITY 46 Cinema Bremen (DE), Festival of Public Art Omsk (RU), James Hockey Gallery Farnham (GB), 35M2 Gallery in Prague (CZ) and the Architecture Days Austria. Working stays and scholarships enabled her to carry out research and productions in Germany, Rotterdam (NL), Sovetsk (RU) or Krems (AT), among others.
