Gaduated from the Faculty of Humanities at UABC. His work blends documentary, experimental, and autofictional methodologies through the record of his daily life. In his films he humorously addresses themes such as modes of protest, working conditions, student identity, the construction of emotional ties and the collective memory; challenging the dominant narratives around violence in Tijuana. His films have been awarded at FICUNAM, FIDMarseille, MIDBO, ZINEBI and FICENS. They have also been featured at Mar del Plata, Márgenes, Black Canvas, Cámara Lúcida, FICMonterrey, Bogoshorts, Corriente – Latin American Non Fiction Forum, and the International Forum of Mexican Cinematheque. His work has been the subject of retrospectives at the EUREKA University Film Festival (2022, Bogotá) and at Spectacle Theater (2025, New York). His film Un techo sin cielo (2025) won the Silver Puma Prize for Best Mexican Film and a Special Metion of the Fosforo Jury in FICUNAM 15. Prince Claus Fund - Seed Award 2025 recipient (Netherlands).
