Jyrgen Ueberschär, born in 1978, studied Film and Media Art at the University of Art and Design Karlsruhe and the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. His work, which includes photography, installations, and film, explores the boundary between reality and fiction. He has exhibited widely in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Korea, Italy, France, and China, and has taught workshops and lectures at institutions like the Academy of Art Nuremberg and the Musée de l'Elysée in Lausanne. He currently teaches at the Department of Fine Arts of Zurich University of the Art.
