Kao Wei-Heng graduated from the Department of Film Creation at Taipei National University of the Arts. His works span across narrative, documentary, and experimental forms. Ti Tou, Zhi Chuang, Jia Wa Wa Ji (2023) was nominated for Best Student Narrative Film at the 45th Golden Harvest Awards; Boy Drenched in Water (2023) was screened on GagaOOLala; The Other Island of Degree Zero Memories (2024) was selected for the Wuhan–Berlin Film Week; and A Driving Story (2024) was shortlisted in the NOVA Competition Section of the Beijing International Short Film Festival (BISFF). His most recent work, The Fissure of The Red Sight (2025), has been selected for the 42nd Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival and Festival Tous Courts d’Aix-en-Provence in France.
