Award-winning UK/US filmmaker Kristin Duffy is the founder behind
female-focused theatre & entertainment company, Slackline
Productions, which champions women 35+. While studying for her MA in Filmmaking (Producing), Kristin discovered that skills acquired from careers in design, producing and acting combined perfectly to create a director and has directed ever since.
Recent credits include the award-winning Fast-Firming Wand and Straight 8 tragicomic short, Bitter Fruit, which was selected to premiere at the BFI IMAX in London earlier this year. Kristin is also listed on The Shiny List, which champions new & diverse directors.
Though it's taken a while to get to directing film, for Kristin, it feels like home -- and she's determined to make up for lost time.
