Mohammad Karimi was born in Ahvaz. He graduated with a degree in cinema directing from the University of Applied Sciences, a bachelor's degree in cultural management and a long-term course in filmmaking from the Youth Cinema Association. He knew art from his childhood through poetry. He worked in the theater for some time and acted as an actor in several productions and participated in several national and international theater festivals. He has collaborated in several short films and documentaries as a director's consultant, cameraman and editor.
