Moso Sematlane is a writer and filmmaker from Maseru, Lesotho. His work is concerned with the state of fracture that occurs in the intersection of identities and localities; specifically, queer and black, a globalized versus a non-globalized Lesotho, and tradition and modernity. He is also editor and curator of Mamosetse: The New Magazine of Convergent Storytelling in Fiction and Narrative-Non Fiction, as well as a trustee and co-coordinator of the arts organisation, Majoaneng: Academy of Images and Letters
