Mowen Wang, a Chinese video artist who was born and raised in Dalian, currently working and living in Beijing. With interest in the observation of social reality, female situations and individual memories. Her artistic practice reflects the individual's subjective world with a combination of documentary and experimental video language. Her artworks focus on exploring the interchangeable expressions between reality and non-reality. Her work has been screened in several film festivals, including Beijing International Short Film Festival (2019), Motherhood Film Festival (2022), South Taiwan Film Festival (2022), and won the Grand Prize for Image Forum Festival (2021).
