Nicola Baratto is a multidisciplinary artist based between Paris and Amsterdam. Working with film, sculpture and installation, Baratto builds narrative worlds mixing dream journaling with archive and field research. His 'Archaeodreaming' method, developed in collaboration with Greek artist Yiannis Mouravas, employs sensorial archaeology, myths, and imagination to question the grounds on which history is written, and to observe how material memory influences (un)conscious collective and individual lives.
