Nils Ramme studied theater studies in Berlin and worked as an assistant of renowned director Rosa von Praunheim before taking up his diploma studies at Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, Germany in 2017. Since 2020 he formed a collective with Felix Bartke, which so far has resulted in the short films "Cruiser" (2022) and "Herkules" (2023). "Cruiser" has been shown internationally and broadcasted( International Shortfilm Festival Oberhausen; St. Louis International Film Festival, Missouri, Landshuter Kurzfilmtage (Germany), FECI Bogota, WDR-shortfilm night) and was awarded the "Queer- and Genderprice 2022" by the "blicke Filmfestival" (Bochum, Germany). In their experimental documentary films, which make use of different film materials, they deal with cinematographic stereotypes, constructions of masculinities and class.
