A Spanish screenwriter and amateur filmmaker, silvia jiménez has lived in Mexico City since 2012. The feature film ‘Los hermosos vencidos’ that she co-wrote with her director, Guillermo Magariños, was premiered in 2021 at the Malaga Film Festival and received the ‘Honorable Mention’ at the Guanajuato International Film Festival and the Ibiza Independent Film Festival. His first short film ‘los cautiverios’ was produced with the support of IMCINE and has been part of festivals such as Tampere, Oberhausen, Lago or Uppsala.
