Snejina Latev is an artist and filmmaker, born in Bulgaria, and living in Stockholm. Her work in film and television started over fifteen years ago while living in New York and working as a creative director at VH1. She has directed high-budget TV promos, working with talent like TLC, Linda Perry, Ghostface Killah, and many others while also creating no-budget experimental music videos for bands like Animal Collective and Here We Go Magic. More recently, she was part of two documentary features; Walking on Water, a documentary film about the artist Christo’s Floating Piers installation in Lake Iseo, directed by Andrey Paounov, and Moments Like This Never Last, a biopic on the late artist Dash Snow, directed by Cheryl Dunn. Iskra is her first narrative film.
