Stephanie was born and raised in Rome in a traditional Sephardic family. She later studied in Paris, where she began a career in film production. As a development executive, she’s worked with screenwriters and directors in the writing of their feature films.
After making her first self-funded film, which was purchased by OCS, she directed Women of virtue (Les Vertueuses), her first produced short film, which was nominated for the 2023 Cesar Awards.
She then directed the documentary short film Dolce Casa, which delves into the intimacy of her family situation and is the basis for her first feature fiction film, which is being written.
Stephanie has several television series projects in development, which often revolve around issues of women’s place in society.
