Valentina Alvarado Matos is an artist whose practice focuses on the moving image, traversed by a gaze that reflects on diaspora, landscape, and gesture. Her work has been exhibited at FIC Valdivia, Pesaro Film Festival, Viennale, International Film Festival Rotterdam, L'Alternativa, Oberhausen, among others. Some of her films are included in the catalogs of Light Cone and XCèntric Archive. She had a solo exhibition with Carlos Vásquez Méndez at La Capella in Barcelona and at La Virreina Image Center in Barcelona at the beginning of 2024. She combines her artistic practice with teaching in places such as Massana, Master LAV, Eina Barcelona, Can Felipa Ars Visuals and so on.
