Yiyang Sun, 2000 Born in Shanghai,China. A craft woman gives birth to handmade films, ceramic arts, sounds and puppets. Currently she studies in Estonia Academy of Arts.
Sun’s practice starts from the reconstruction of folk art and surrealism by collecting antique objects.Sun has recently devoted herself in the imagery of idolls,
Her handmade films have been presented internationally such as Animafest Zagreb,PÖFF Shorts, Animateka Film Festival and so on. Previously She got Best Experimental Film in Paris International Animation Film Festival .
Sun regards herself as the “Bunny mimic Nüwa” in both game and labor.
