王元，来自中国、现居洛杉矶的新锐导演与艺术家，以对社会议题的敏锐洞察与富有感染力的跨文化叙事见长。她以心理学训练为底色，在美国艺术中心设计学院主修电影导演，作品常聚焦身份、迁徙与边缘群体，通过镜头捕捉差异之间的张力与共鸣。她执导的MV与短片屡获洛杉矶独立电影节、Around International Film Festival Berlin 等国际奖项；为 Saint Laurent 拍摄的广告片荣膺 Queen Palm 国际影展“最佳商业广告奖”。目前，长片纪录片《iina》进入后期制作，并已于 2024 年在捷克 Ji.hlava 国际纪录片电影节及西班牙 MEDIMED 创投会上公开提案。
Yuan Scarlett WANG is a Chinese director and artist based in Los Angeles, known for her distinctive narrative style that incorporates audacity and experimentation. With a background in psychology and film directing from ArtCenter College of Design, she has directed acclaimed music videos and short films. Her debut feature documentary, iina, exploring Chinese and Native American collaboration on cannabis farms, was pitched at Ji.hlava and MediMed in 2024 and is now in post-production.
