Encouraged by the polychrome dreamlike nature of the Ñuiñe land, Desiderio, a peasant from southern Mexico, offers the Tupa, the ancient spirit of the hills to which his grandparents used to ask for rain and harvest. At nightfall, while he rests at the foot of a campfire, a mysterious being guides him to the core of an ancestral memory.
