It’s an elegy written for the hometown. Ping, a high school teacher, is as insignificant as a screw in the huge repressive teaching machine. Daily wars with the so-called “bad student” make her feel absurd. She dates secretly and regularly with a married teacher, in her grandpa’s rundown house awaiting demolition. But since one day, she becomes able to see her dead grandpa.
