Safe Trip is a short film project about the funeral culture of the Asian community in the United Kingdom. The film follows a Chinese paper offering, accompanied by a letter compiled from real letters written by Chinese immigrant families in the 20th century, as it wanders through a liminal space. Through a combination of fictional and documentary narratives, the short film attempts to explore the aesthetics of diaspora, memory, and death.
