A man’s ordinary days are quietly eroded by mysterious visual distortions, and the boundary between perception and reality begins to waver.
This work was inspired by the visual phenomenon of migraine aura, Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s final work Cogwheels, and the coincidental connection with the place where that text was written.
It explores the illusions created by the brain, the subtle discomforts that exist within daily life, and experiences that cannot be explained through words.
