When the traveler took the photograph, his soul was stolen. Now we trace his journey through memories printed and scanned, as stones morph into pixels and words glue themselves to the air. The traveler hides in the lines, displaced up-and-down, across and slantwise. Like lives, these lines end, each in turn, as the mountain is formed.
