The film adopts a factual technique in relating the story of a little lama and those around him, timed within the three days from the New Year’s Eve to the first three days of the New Year, and set in a remote small temple, where the little lama is so curious about everything new and novel. Within the three days, the little lama was so deeply intrigued and interested by the TV programs, that he was at once excited and puzzled between the secular and religious life, between reality and legends, and between local and introduced culture.
