It’s an ironic portrayal of Iran’s history by the inhabitants of the city of Isfahan. This storytelling approach is grounded in multifigure/multitopic Persian miniatures. To move away from a linear narrative structure, the film presents four stories, each depicting a distinct period of historical hardship in Iran as seen through the perspectives of modern Iranians. These stories are interwoven with the myth of the Homa - a bird of fortune that dies, heralding a mysterious wind that sweeps everything away.
