The Chinese documentary filmmaker Cai Ning was born in 1996, currently based in Brussels. With a love of observational, participatory, and self-reflexive documentaries, she is keen on filming topics related to feminism, gender, identity, and relationships.
She is studying documentary film directing across Europe as a graduate student from DocNomads.
蔡宁生于1996年，是个来自云南昆明的的纪录片新人导演。她在欧洲的三个国家做了两年短片，今年刚获得欧盟Erasmus项目的纪录片导演硕士学位，目前驻地在比利时。
小蔡喜欢拍观察影像和私人影像。她关注那些与女性、身份和情感关系有关的瞬间故事，相信平凡琐碎的生活里，往往有最值得被纪录的内容。
