Federica Cafferata was born in Mendoza and graduated in Film Directing from the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. She has worked on short films and music videos, mainly in the areas of directing and production, and also has experience as an actress. She co-founded the independent production company IRÓNICA Cine (2021-2023) and has coordinated events, debates, and workshops related to cinema.
Canción de Cumbre, her first short film as a director, was selected for festivals such as Oberhausen, BAFICI, and Hainan, among others. Currently, in addition to developing her personal projects, she is involved in the distribution of short films.
