The artistic duo Ge Tairan and Tenzin Dhame is known for its interdisciplinary collaboration and experimental creations. Both graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and began collaborating due to their shared interest in cross-ethnic interactions and multi-species narratives. They excel at combining diverse research and fictional approaches to explore narratives such as contemporary mythology and ethnic relations.

Ge Tairan (b. 2000, Tongling, Anhui Province) earned her Bachelor's degree from the School of Humanities at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2022 and her Master's degree from the School of Experimental Art and Science & Technology Art at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2025. She currently lives and works in Beijing. Trained in art history, she has conducted research on contemporary cultural contexts in Tibetan regions, publishing independent magazines and academic papers on the subject. Her recent artistic practice focuses on cross-ethnic cultural interactions and the new forms that emerge within hybrid socio-cultural spaces. Through methods such as critical fiction, identity fantasy, and pseudo-academic research, she creates a sense of dialogic ambiguity, developing a series of narrative-driven works.

Tenzin Dhame (born in 1997 in Lhasa, currently based in Beijing) completed his undergraduate studies in Chinese painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the same institution. By integrating field research and fiction, he explores contemporary interpretations of original myths across various media, including painting, performance , and video. His artistic influences extend beyond the traditional thangka painting, incorporating narrative and visualcues from pre-modern painterly mediums and symbols worldwide , resulting in a distinctive and eclectic style.
