Hio Lam Lei is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Macau. She works across moving image, sculpture, printmaking, photography and text making. 

Deploying Analytical psychology as a research tool, her practice often looks into discussions concerning societal gender norms and its impact on ones’ self identification. Her recent practice seeks to examine the psychodynamics underlying the ritual/healing practice in Han folk religious context.
