Jessye Wdowin-McGregor is an Australian visual artist and filmmaker who draws on her experience of place and the relationships between humans, other species and our shared environment. A connection to nature underpins much of her work, and she is interested in landscape as a space for intimacy with the more-than-human and a reflection on how we coexist with other beings and forces.
Jessye’s works have screened in a variety of exhibition venues in Australia, including Kingston Arts Centre, Melbourne (2024); Correspondences, Melbourne (2023); AIRspace Projects, Sydney (2021); Rubicon ARI, Melbourne (2019); and Testing Grounds, Melbourne (2018). Internationally, her work has been shown at Robinson Road Studios in London (2017) and multi-arts festival Estuary in Kent (2021), in the UK. Jessye has undertaken artist residencies with Acme in London and Correspondences in Melbourne, and her film work and writing has been featured in online publications including WomenCinemakers and Photodust.
