Khashayar Kalantari is a filmmaker and writer from Sari, Iran, currently residing in Los Angeles. He studied English Literature at the University of San Francisco. His films combine themes from his interests in literature, philosophy, sociology, politics, and poetry. His favorite filmmakers are Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Andrei Tarkovsky, and Ingmar Bergman, in no particular order.
