
LIM Han Loong
林汉龙
林汉龙(LIM Han Loong)毕业于马来西亚理科大学(University Science of Malaysia),获得传播学(电影与广播)学士学位,自2012年起从事导演工作。
除了职业作品外,他执导的短片也在东南亚地区内获得认可,包括《相爱之路》(The Way We Love, 2014,入围寰宇电视新锐导演奖[Astro New Director Award])、《1304公里:苏门答腊女孩》(1304 KM: Girl from Sumatra, 2016,Seashorts电影节)、《唯愿君心似我心》(I Just Want You to Love Me, 2018,Minikino电影节)以及《家庭聚会》(Family Dinner, 2020,斩获mm2马来西亚电影人竞赛大奖[Grand Prize mm2 Malaysian Movie Makers Competition])。
他近期完成了短片《鸟,飞行中》,并正在开发短片《痒》(ITCH,新加坡Objectifs短片孵化计划)及首部长片《或许今日,若非今日,或待明日》(Maybe Today, If Not Today, Maybe Tomorrow,参与香港电影实验室、香港亚洲电影投资会[HAF]及mylab项目),这些作品均表达了他对家乡的情感。他坚信电影是一种反映普通人平凡生活的艺术形式。
Having graduated from the University Science of Malaysia with Bachelor Degree in Communication Studies (Film & Broadcasting), LIM Han Loong has pursued a career as a director since 2012.
Other than his professional works, Han Loong directed short films that gained recognition in the region including The Way We Love, 2014 (Finalist Astro New Director Award), 1304 KM: Girl from Sumatra, 2016 (Seashorts Film Festival), I Just Want You to Love Me, 2018 (Minikino Film Festival) and Family Dinner, 2020 (Grand Prize mm2 Malaysian Movie Makers Competition).
He recently completed a short film, In the Valley and is developing a short film, ITCH (Singapore Objectifs Short Film Incubator Programme) and debut feature film, Maybe Today, If Not Today, Maybe Tomorrow (HK Film Lab, HAF, mylab), which all explore his sentiments towards his hometown. He believes filmmaking is an art of reflecting mundane lives of ordinary people.
