Pek Jia Hao is a Singaporean filmmaker. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2019. After graduating, he decided to pursue his passion for cinema. 波罗蜜 (BEYOND THE OTHER SHORE), his directorial debut, won the Grand Award Prize in the Short Film International Competition of the 65th ZINEBI, International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao. His second film 我的未來不是夢 (AS IF TO NOTHING) was handpicked by Barry Jenkins to screen at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival’s Calling Card Program.
