Currently living and working in Guangzhou, his practice focuses primarily on moving-image, text, and sculpture. In recent years, his interest in orchids has led to research that touches on issues at the intersection of nature and culture. Self-identifying as queer, he often infuse personal emotions and memories into his work, attempting to present viewers with a poetic, contradictory, and strange narrative where the boundaries between the subjective and objective are blurred.
