Graduated in Bachelor of Fine Arts (First Class Honour) in School of Film and Television of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts; was granted a scholarship as an exchange student in the Film School of Taipei National University of the Arts. His short film "The Kowloon Emperor" won The Audience Award of the 16th Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival.
