At midnight, Ana went out for a walk because she couldn’t fall asleep, and her roommate, who saw Ana go out, thinks she's sleepwalking. A few days later, Serena, who has traveled from California, comes to Boston and hangs out with Ana. They have a gathering with friends and drink together; Ana sees the others getting buzzed and chatting, while she herself remains hopelessly sober.
